The Field Boot pattern is dedicated to the long weekends spent outdoors. It has the feel of a vintage leather hunting boot, utilizing stout leatherand the time-tested Goodyear-welt construction. Most importantly, leather components are used throughout the boot to create the foundation to withstand years of wear.

The shaft is slightly taller than our average boot, but the unlined shaft construction and padded collar offer a soft feel from the first wear.

While the pattern and robust materials create a strong base, the key is the full-fitting Floyd last. It prioritizes forefoot freedom which is crucial for all-day comfort.

The Field boot is designed for walking, working, and long weekend adventures.

The Badalassi Carlo Tannery's Minerva leather is one of our favorites. This boutique Italian tannery specializes in vegetable tanning. During the process, the leather is placed in a 'Bottali', which is a large barrel that rotates, allowing the organic tanning substances to stay in contact with the article. A complete cycle may take 30 - 35 days. The result is an incredibly rich leather with transparency and depth.

The leather can have prominent vamp breaks and a variation of colors. Since this is a light-colored vegetable-tanned article, there may be areas on the boot which have darker hues.
